Official sources

The only official sources for Sri Lankan tax rules and services are the department's own channels:

• ird.gov.lk — the official website of the Inland Revenue Department
• eservices.ird.gov.lk — the official e-services portal for registration, verification and filing
• The IRD call centre on 1944

Always complete registrations, verifications and payments on those official sites. Never enter your NIC, TIN or OTP on a look-alike page, and never pay a third party for TIN registration — it is free.
